Give to Lincoln Day

Spring is the Kick-off of the G2LD, (Give To Lincoln Day) a fund raising campaign sponsored by Lincoln Community Foundation. It’s an opportunity for Lincoln / Lancaster County non-profits to raise much needed funds to continue our efforts to help serve our community.

Many of you have supported us in the past, and I ask that you prayerfully consider helping us again this year. Our goal is to be there to help women that find themselves in a crisis pregnancy situation and save the lives of their precious babies.

Online (Credit Card) Donations, $10 minimum, can be made May 1st through May 30th at the above webpage. There is a 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee, the default is to add that fee to your donation or you can select not to add it. Examples, a $10 would be $10 + .29 +.30 = $10.59; A $100 would be $100 + $2.90 + .30 = $103.20.

Checks and Cash donations can only be made on May 30 at the following donation stations:

  • Lincoln Community Foundation, 215 Centennial Mall South Suite 100, 8 am – 5 pm
  • West Gate Bank, 6003 Old Cheney Road, 9 am – 4 pm
  • Tower Square at 13th & P Streets 10 am – 2 pm.

Checks must be made out to Lincoln Community Foundation, with Lincoln Right to Life in the memo line.

Mom with Baby

Through your generous donations we are able to help many women and their babies through several different missions:

  1. Mothers Assistance Fund, that enables us to help support those who are at risk for abortion and ultimately choose life. Including clothes for both mother and baby, baby supplies, and immediate help with bills and or rent, infant car seats, strollers and gift cards for other needs.
  2. Sidewalk Counsellors to talk to and offer help women facing a crisis pregnancy.
  3. Diaper Heaven, where we were able to distribute over 31,000 diapers for free in 2018 to families in need.
  4. Life Chain, the first Sunday in October every year. Which is a National Event in over 1,550 cities and towns participating in this public witness for life.
  5. “40 Days for Life” semi-annual campaign in Lincoln, just like those in the “Unplanned” movie.
  6. Pro-Life Speech Contest, where high school students have the opportunity to research a topic and offer a presentation competing for cash awards.
  7. We sponsor several Prayer services in front of Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic, a semi-annual Prayer Service, an annual  Good Friday Prayer Service as well as a weekly Prayers Services every Abortion Tuesdays.
  8. Enable us to continue to leasing commercial property across the street from Planned Parenthood so we can be a Christian witness to the Clinic Employees and our Community.
